ALHADDAD      INTERIOR       DESIGN

There is a language of interior design, a vocabulary that can be studied, understood, and spoken. I believe that decorating  is not  simply a set of arbitrary ideas,

an eclectic  assortment  of favorite objects. Good design has a clear  lexicon; it is grounded  in logic, an aesthetic  precept, and the work  and well- trained  eyes of artists, architects, builders and designers.

while there  is no question  that the best  designers have innate  talent and  creativity, the language  of interior design  can be taught. Training  your eye is a life long process. Studying and learning from the master, and following the empirical truths that form  the foundation of architecture and design are essential.

In my case, after finishing my degree in Computer

Engineerig  at Baghdad University  I have decided to follow  my  innate passion  for interior design. This passion has led me to develop my skills and knowledge in this field through  training my eye, travel and eventually, through undertaking  interior design diploma  from   "Penn Foster Career School".

I have recently established  ALHADDAD INTERIOR DESIGN  Firm, and since then  I have been very keen to

provide each of my clients' project with the four basic elements for any successful interior,  which are :

Contrast, Proportoin, Color, and Balance, since Contrast creates the required  tension to keep the eye moving around the room. Proportion  establishes  the spatial  relationships  between  various elements of a room and defines the  structure of a space. Color provides the descriptive adjectives, making a rooom feel formal or  playful , restful or vibrant. Finally Balance underlies the entire  composition; it gives each item  relevance and meaning , bringing  continuity and harmony to the whole .

My ultimate goal is to  share my visions and  design

principles  with my clients  to  enable them  to tell their stories through  simple, timeless and elegant interiors.
